Pellegrino bottles. This is the most popular consumable product for a serious pantry, cabinet, refrigerator or kitchen counter staging. Running a close second are classic Campbell’s soup cans.

Firewood. We’ve had the conversation about the damage firewood can do many times, but we can’t help but be drawn to the familiar texture of split logs. Just make sure they are bug free and truly dry before you bring them indoors.

TV screens lit up with a classic. Stagers and interior photographers are paying close attention to what’s on screens these days, whether it’s a Star Wars scene that goes with a room or a classic that will draw you in.

Sheepskin throws. Whether tossed over another rug, a sofa or dining chairs, these soft throws cozy up a space.

The Tom Ford book. This fashion tome, published in 2008, is an archive of the amazing way Ford took a fusty old Italian company and made it relevant again. Weighing in at over 10 pounds and giving off a strong black and white graphic, it’s a go-to staging book. Mrs. Meyers cleaning supplies. These products’ clever graphic design is the best thing to happen to laundry room staging since those Borax boxes worshipped by Warhol.

An Alessi teapot. This kettle with pop art sensibility, designed by architect Michael Graves, is the number-one object used in kitchen staging. Running a close second is an eclectic traditional one by MacKenzie-Childs.

A KitchenAid standing mixer. While white and stainless are very popular, these often add one of the only pops of color to today’s white kitchens. Running a close second is a Le Creuset pot.

Dogs. Does anything make you more drawn to a room than an adorable pooch smiling at you? Of course, if you are a cat person, replace dog with cat.

Lemons. Fruit always packs a colorful punch. Don’t feel like these fruits are limited to the kitchen; you can stage the dining table, console table or coffee table with a lovely bowl of lemons, limes, apples or oranges as well.

A Vilac car. This stylish toy car from France is one toy you’ll keep out in the open when you’re neatening up the house.

Orchids. Entryway consoles, coffee tables, dining tables and bathroom countertops can all be enhanced by these exotic blooms. Second place goes to sunflowers. Beautiful Console Tables That Are More Than a Catchall

Big leaves. If you’re not into blossoms, try using just one or two statement leaves in lieu of a bouquet. Look to elephant’s ear or palm leaves for a coastal modern look.

Leather animals. These charming props add texture and are unexpected sculptures in a room. They also double as ottomans.

A blazing fire pit. These not only look great but create wonderful outdoor spaces where you can warm up with your pals while toasting marshmallows.
