As an affiliate in the Sotheby’s International Realty network, we have the great opportunity to leverage the global and renowned Sotheby’s Auction house brand. We are extremely proud to be able to bring our clients the exceptional service that the Sotheby’s Auction house name is synonymous with.
But it’s more than that. Time and time again we see ourselves affiliated not just in how we conduct business but with the Sotheby’s global culture, commitment to giving back and in our deep interests in education and the power of art.
Today, we’re writing to share the latest reason why we’re having a proud affiliate moment.
On March 1st, Sotheby’s, in partnership with Oprah Winfrey and Agnes Gund, will hold an auction of art by women artists, the first ever all-women artist benefit auction held at a major auction house. The “By Women, For Tomorrow’s Women” auction will feature work by more than 25 female artists.
The auction will raise funds for Miss Porter’s School in Connecticut, a leading all-girls high school, whose mission it is to educate young women to become informed, bold, resourceful and ethical global citizens.
We share the mission of Sotheby’s, Winfrey and Gund to share the power of knowledge and art, and are thrilled now and always to be a Connecticut affiliate.
Watch the women who are making this possible, philanthropists Oprah Winfrey, Agnes Gund and Kate Windsor, Head of School at Miss Porter’s.
