The Sotheby’s International Realty Network has recently entered or expanded in several international markets in many parts of the world since the beginning of 2015, including Europe, South America and Africa.
Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC announced in February of 2015 that its luxury real estate services would be available in Rome. With the opening of Rome Sotheby’s International Realty, the brand strengthened an already solid Italian presence, adding to its other Italian offices in Milan, Lake Como, Tuscany, and Venice. Located inside the renowned Roman palace Palazzo Odescalchi, the Rome office is conveniently positioned, catering to individual client needs with a multi-lingual staff. Known as the eternal city, Rome still serves as one of the most exhilarating and romantic destinations in the world.
In March, the brand announced that Andorran real estate firm Finques 3 Cases is joining its luxury real estate network and is now operating as Andorra Sotheby’s International Realty. The firm aims to serve the high-end real estate market throughout the Principality of Andorra. Situated between France and Spain, Andorra offers a unique mountain lifestyle, boasting ski-resort conditions in the wintertime and opportunities for a myriad of other outdoor activities in the summer. David Luenenschloss, the head of international business for the Andorran office, describes the country as “one of the safest in the world” as well as one that offers a “modern legal framework that makes it very interesting for international investors, entrepreneurs and public figures.”
Later that month, Sotheby’s International Realty announced that real estate firm Imobiliaria Bossa Nova of Brazil had joined the brand as well and would now do business as Bossa Nova Sotheby’s International Realty. President of the firm Luciano Amado was enthusiastic about the move to the Sotheby’s network, describing it as one that would “allow [Imobilaria Bossa Nova] to supply [its] team with new technologies, training and market intelligence.” Home to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and several top beach and countryside locations, Brazil boasts extraordinary real estate inventory.
In early April, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC announced that Espral International Ltd, a land and property development company in Mauritius, was now part of its luxury real estate network, officially becoming Mauritius Sotheby’s International Realty. Mauritius is an island nation off the southeast coast of Africa known for its blue seas, white sandy beaches and luxury hotels. Mauritius Sotheby’s International Realty targets the high-end real estate market throughout the island.
The Sotheby’s International Realty network currently has more than 16,500 sales associates located in approximately 760 offices in 60 countries and territories worldwide.
