Sotheby’s International Realty® recently announced it has expanded its global presence to some key luxury markets across the globe. The brand now has approximately 950 offices in 69 counties and territories and includes more than 21,000 sales associates.
Sri Lanka is one of the newest Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates after the company announced it has signed a 25-year franchise agreement with Realpro Realty Solutions Private Limited to further expand the Sotheby’s International Realty brand in South Asia. Sri Lanka Sotheby’s International Realty will be led by CEO Amit Goyal and President Ashwin Chadha, who also stand at the helm of India Sotheby’s International Realty. The firm will serve the luxury residential real estate market throughout Sri Lanka with a flagship office in Columbo that is set to open in June of this year. Charles Phillpot, a seasoned real estate professional from the United Kingdom, will serve as the office’s resident director.
Back stateside in the Volunteer State, Zeitlin & Co., Realtors in Tennessee is a new member of our global network and will now operate as Zeitlin Sotheby’s International Realty. Established in 1979, Zeitlin Sotheby’s International Realty is owned by Shirley Zeitlin, founder and chairman, Patricia Carter, president, Jessica Averbuch, CEO, and Sam Averbuch, COO. The firm serves the luxury residential real estate markets covering the greater Middle Tennessee region including Davidson County, home to the key city of Nashville, and all of Williamson County.

On the West Coast, Mendo Realty in Mendocino and Fort Bragg, California, is the newest member of our global network and will now operate as Mendo Sotheby’s International Realty. Established in 1963, the boutique firm is owned and operated by Gregory J. Burke, Allan Cone and Arvin Reed. It will serve the luxury residential real estate markets of the Mendocino Coast and into the Anderson Valley and Comptche.

Off the coast of Aruba lies a Dutch Caribbean island known for its beaches and expansive coral reefs, rich with marine life. Curaçao is also home to one of the newest Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates. Curaçao Sotheby’s International Realty is led by owner Raymond Seijs and will serve the luxury residential real estate markets across the island including Blue Bay Resort, Coral Estate Resort, Jan Thiel Beach and Santa Barbara Plantation.

Finally, the brand also further expanded its presence in Massachusetts with the merger of Harborside Sotheby’s International Realty and Sagan Realtors. The office will now operate as Sagan Harborside Sotheby’s International Realty. The merger expands the firm’s presence across Essex County, serving the luxury residential real estate markets in Swampscott and Marblehead. Sagan Harborside Sotheby’s International Realty has approximately 80 independent sales associates.
