Our brand is recognized for the sophistication of both its marketing tools and the technical support that our sales associates receive. Realogy, similarly utilizes the most significant technological advancements, ensuring that the sales professionals in the many firms it oversees keep their top-ranking status. To that end, Realogy, the worldwide real estate franchising leader and a provider of real estate brokerage, settlement and relocation services, has just held a competition in which several companies had the opportunity to present their emerging products and concepts in technology and win a cash grand prize of $25,000. Thought leaders in the real estate industry from various franchises as well as executives of Realogy attended the event by invitation only. 100 companies applied and 15 were selected to showcase their offerings this June at the inaugural Realogy FWD Innovation Summit.
Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty is thrilled that Vincent Socci, our very own Director of Marketing, was invited to participate. The 150 leaders in real estate who were invited also included participants from six additional affiliated Sotheby’s International Realty firms. Socci along with his colleagues cast votes for the winner after the three finalists were chosen by a panel of judges. Taking top honors was Floored, a company based in New York City that specializes in interactive 3D models for properties of all types.
“It was an honor to be invited to join this extraordinary event. I came away feeling deeply impressed by the degree of talent these firms exhibited, as well as the forward-thinking concepts they revealed,” said Socci. “I look forward to the ongoing dialogue that our parent company will hold with these companies, and to introducing their promising and unique technological products to our business.”
Other noteworthy companies that had the chance to present at the Realogy FWD Innovation Summit included HomeZada, the runner-up, which has created software to help homeowners with maintaining and organizing their properties, and BuyerMLS, the third-place finalist, which provides a real-time buyer marketplace for real estate sales professionals. Also showcasing products designed to answer a variety of needs were HomeLight, MyCityWay, Updater, Storefront, Relocality, RealScout and Keyzio. The Summit was an excellent occasion to forge new connections and for senior leadership at Realogy to learn new solutions and perspectives. We are proud to have had the chance to attend, and we are excited to implement many of these valuable innovations.
