Irvington, N.Y. (November 14, 2016) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that seasoned real estate professionals Valerie Kopelman and Angeles Martinez de Carvajal have recently joined the firm’s Irvington brokerage.

Kopelman has over 18 years of award-winning real estate experience in Westchester County. She is a top producer with a successful listing and selling record in the communities of Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Pocantico Hills, Irvington, Briarcliff Manor, Scarborough, Hastings-on-Hudson, Ardsley, Chappaqua, Dobbs Ferry, Pleasantville, Valhalla, Ossining, Elmsford and Pleasantville. Prior to her real estate career, Kopelman was a high school teacher in New York City. She is a longtime resident of Tarrytown’s Wilson Park area, and is passionate about the Hudson River, spending time in her beloved garden and enjoying the region’s natural beauty and secret treasures.

Born and raised in Seville, Spain, Martinez de Carvajal has an extensive international background, having worked and invested in real estate throughout Spain, California, North Carolina and New York. Eventually moving with her family from Madrid to the United States, she began her own business in Manhattan, establishing a successful real estate investment company. Martinez de Carvajal now lives in Tarrytown, N.Y., where she specializes in selling and buying homes throughout Westchester County and the Rivertown markets. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, listening to classical music and staying in touch with world news.
