Scarsdale, N.Y. – April 25, 2017 – Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that the firm’s Scarsdale brokerage will be partnering with the online auction organization Everything But the House (EBTH) to host a “Drop-Off Day” on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event presents individuals with the opportunity to consign household items valued at $150 or more to be sold on EBTH.com.
Before dropping off any items to sell, participants are asked to complete a form at partners.ebth.com/JuliaBFee. Eligible items include antiques, art, jewelry and watches, automobiles, fashion accessories, décor, electronics, tools, coins and currency, as well as sports and memorabilia. EBTH will photograph, describe and upload items to its site. The online, no-reserve auctions last up to seven days and reach over 900,000 registered bidders in over 100 countries. 20 business days after the close of a successful sale, contributors will receive a check. EBTH’s commission is 40%.
“We are excited to collaborate with EBTH and introduce this valuable service to our community,” said Brad Kimmelman, manager of Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s Scarsdale brokerage. “Anyone who is preparing to sell their home, or perhaps de-clutter for the spring season, should definitely stop by our office’s official drop-off location.”
