Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Hosts ‘A Taste of Rye’ With My Sisters’ Place to Fight Domestic Violence

Rye, N.Y. (August 16, 2017) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that the company will once again partner with My Sisters’ Place, a Westchester County-based organization that works to fight domestic violence, in hosting a fund-raising “A Taste of Rye” restaurant crawl on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 3-5:30 pm.

The company is currently selling tickets to the event for $50 to raise money for the cause. Previous “A Taste of Rye” events hosted by the company have raised well over $100,000. This year, the New York Giants have donated one gift basket to be auctioned to the highest bidder. This gift basket can be viewed at the Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty office in Rye for the week prior to the event. This year’s event will also feature a raffle for mystery boxes of a certain value that contain gift cards and other items from the Rye community. The raffle tickets will cost $10 per ticket and will be drawn at the conclusion of the event.

Purchase of a ticket allows participants to “sip, snack and stroll,” gaining them a drink and a specially prepared appetizer by the chef at each of nine restaurants featured on the tasting tour. These include Aurora, Fogama, Morgans Fish House, Rosemary and Vine, Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro, Blue Tulip Chocolates, Wine at Five, Bareburger and the Rye Grill & Bar.

“Over the last few years, we have raised over $100,000 for this very worthwhile organization, gaining recognition by My Sisters’ Place for our efforts,” said Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Rye agent Liz Bradley. “We thank everyone who has participated for their continued support. I hope even more members of the community will be able to attend and volunteer their time to help end domestic violence and human trafficking at this year’s event.”

Tickets can be purchased online at atasteofrye.com, and exchanged for a wristband at the company’s Rye brokerage, located at 49 Purchase Street between Starbucks and Ruby’s Oyster Bar.
