Niantic, Conn. – November 4, 2020 — William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that one of New London County’s top producing agent teams, the Fountain-Timmons Team, has joined the company and will be based out of its new Niantic, Conn., location. The Fountain-Timmons Team ranked among the top five teams by dollar volume in New London County for the past 12 months, according to SmartMLS, achieving $32 million in sales volume.
Founded in 2008, the team consists of co-founders Deb Fountain and Leslie Timmons, who bring over 35 years of combined sales experience, as well as Kimberlee Sommers, Diana Lagace and Janelle Timmons. The move marks the first time the team has changed its company affiliation.
The Fountain-Timmons Team was previously associated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties, where they annually ranked among the firm’s top teams nationally and were regularly recognized with its coveted Circle of Excellence award.
Deb Fountain first entered the real estate industry in 2001, and quickly earned a reputation for deep market knowledge, hard work, and making the wants and needs of her clients the top priority. Leslie Timmons became a Realtor in 2004 and has become known for helping buyers and sellers fully realize their real estate dreams, whether purchasing a first home, moving up to their next one or downsizing later in life. Fountain and Timmons have built their business on strong relationships with their clients and the referrals that often result. Both are relocation certified agents and members of the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors.
Fountain and Timmons said they chose to move to William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty based on the superior support the company provides for agents seeking to take their business to new heights, as well as its proven ability to adapt and remain ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving real estate environment.
“I am thrilled to welcome each of the members of the renowned Fountain-Timmons Team to our company,” said William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty brokerage manager Heather Gagnon. “This is a team that enthusiastically delivers exceptional service to buyers and sellers with honesty, knowledge and integrity. They are not only great agents but great people who love real estate and value their community.”
Residents of New London County, both Deb Fountain and Leslie Timmons spend significant time devoting themselves to important causes and active participation in the community. Fountain is the founder and Timmons a member of The Power of Together Southeastern Connecticut, which meets every quarter to raise funds for selected local charities and organizations. They have been involved in the non-profit Sunshine Kids Foundation, which provides support to children with cancer, and additionally ran a food drive for several years.
