Our brand empowers our sales professionals in numerous ways, including through the strength of our worldwide network, our collaborative association with the legendary auction house, the reach of our marketing, and the important industry and market knowledge that we arm our agents with. All of these factors played a part at our latest Global Networking Event, just held in the first week of June in Los Angeles. Sales associates and senior leaders with Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty who were in attendance have just returned, and they are feeling invigorated and inspired to put newly learned strategies into practice and to take advantage of the many new connections they established.
With over 1,400 agents attending from the worldwide network, our agents were able to exchange ideas and connect with colleagues from key global luxury markets where our brand operates. This is one of the most significant aspects of the event, for it provides an occasion for sales associates to build their businesses by developing new relationships and strengthening existing ones, creating powerful sources for referrals. In addition, they had the opportunity to learn more about our brand’s 2013 marketing strategy, most notably the robust listing presentation tool known as Anthology, offering an immersive digital experience that gives a fast and simple overview of the benefits offered through our brand. Realogy’s and Sotheby’s International Realty senior leadership gave some updates, while the auction house revealed future initiatives. The keynote speakers included real estate expert Stefan Swanepoel, renowned business writer Joe Calloway, and the widely known author and graffiti artist Erik Wahl, who offered a stirring talk on nurturing inner strengths and taking risks, all while completing an impressive series of paintings onstage.
Breakout sessions were held in the afternoons, covering a variety of topics including the many services and tools that our clients can benefit from, relevant sales and marketing strategies, suggestions for improving interaction skills, ideas for marketing properties in the very high end, and more. Vin Socci, Director of Marketing, explored the significance of a successful web strategy for today’s real estate marketing environment during a session on proven methods for increasing visibility, involving representatives from a number of firms. Our agents came back to the East Coast with some invaluable takeaways, and we are looking forward to seeing the future of even greater successes of the company and brand.
