Vanessa was referred to me by my financial advisor. She was my real estate agent for selling my home. This was not the first property I have sold so I have some experience working with realtors. Vanessa was very professional and knowledgeable about the current market in my area. She has a patient and calm demeanor. She communicated the process clearly and whenever I had a question she responded immediately even if I called at 10:00 at night. She did a great job marketing my property and hired an excellent photographer to show my home in the best light. She helped me decide on the best asking price for my home. Dear Prospective Buyer and/or Seller, Throughout 2018, Vanessa journeyed with us in search of The Perfect Home for our growing family. Pregnant with our second child, I waddled beside Vanessa as she led us through home tours and answered every question (intelligent or otherwise) we thought to ask. She outlined and explained every term, every step in the process, every potentiality with patience, clarity, and good humor. She deftly managed to satisfy my husband’s need to know All The Details along with my need to be comforted and at peace at all times. Vanessa talked us down from ledges, led us away from unwise decisions, and opened our eyes to see the ‘good bones’. We have known Vanessa Catalano and her family for many years and recently engaged her to act as our realtor to sell our family home. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made as a couple. While this may sound like hyperbole, it is not. There are many highly qualified realtors in the area and we are personal friends with several. When came to picking one, it was a no-brainer. Vanessa immediately came to mind as we were 100% convinced she could best handle our transaction. We lived in our home for twenty-five years and we anticipated emotional undertaking, filled with unexpected and sometimes stressful situation. A real estate transaction is adversarial on its face. The seller is trying to get as much as possible and the buyer is trying to pay as little as possible. This proved to be true on many occasions and Vanessa provided excellent guidance from a financial as well as mental health standpoint. In our case, a hot market put the odds in our favor, but there was still much back and forth with potential buyers. Vanessa Catalano was our seller’s agent for 122 Sarles Lane when sold our home this past summer. We first met her while she was the seller’s agent when we purchased the home in 2017.
