I would like to commend Laura Cruger on a job well done during the sale of our parent’s house in Brookfield, CT. I would recommend her for service above and beyond our wildest expectations of what a realtor would do. It was a pleasure working with her. She was very professional and empathetic to our needs. Laura was recommended to us by one of the neighbors of our parent’s house. We first met Laura in person on May 5 after one of us traveled from CA to CT.  There were many tasks to be performed before we would be able to put our parent’s house on the market.  Over the next week she developed a strategy with all three of us. She arranged for multiple contractors to talk to us and estimate jobs for work that needed to be done for sale of the property. Our focus became removing all remaining personal items and bringing them to a rental storage unit. Implementation of the plan would be completely in the hands of Laura Cruger. During the dozens of emails and phone calls all three of us were in the loop at every step of the way including agreement to every payment and estimate. Laura was always open to suggestions. The 2-1/2 weeks of work that would follow was orchestrated with precision by Laura. A major storm took out electricity and paralyzed activity in the area. Even with no electricity, work began. The work to be accomplished proceeded like clockwork allowing all to work together and not get in each other’s way. The coordination was incredible. None of us were there. Laura was there coordinating the activity and keeping us informed. The house went on the market June 9. On June 12 a contract was signed for purchase above the asking price.
