Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Kristen was a professor, curator, and nonprofit leader for over 20 years, with experience at MoMA, teaching at Williams College, and working at the Clark Museum in the Berkshires, MA, where she has lived for more than 10 years. Kristen is a graduate of Brown University, where she completed her PhD in art and architectural history, as well as her MBA in business administration. Kristen proudly serves on the board of Historic Hyde Hall in Cooperstown, NY. Much of her experience is centered in the cultural corridor of the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley, and she is deeply passionate about the unique experience of living in this region, whether through cultural activities, outdoor adventures, art, music, culinary delights, community engagement, or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
