A native of Orange County, New York, Joan's academic credentials include a degree from Boston College and an MBA in Marketing from the Johnson School at Cornell University. Her career path led her from Fidelity Investments in Boston to brand management at Unilever, eventually guiding her to find her home  in Westchester County.

For over two decades, Joan has been an integral part of the Larchmont community, where she has dedicated herself to various volunteer roles, from PTA President to volunteering  for the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Food Pantry. Her commitment to community service is surpassed only by her devotion to  her family and friends; she is often seen with  her "dancing dog" Lucy, on their leisurely walks through town.
