Being the seller, I was unsure of many aspects of the business of marketing a house, particularly a house that needed lots of repairs. Ellen was with me, as my coach and advisor, from the very first moment she stepped onto the property. She explained the best way to prepare the house for market, taking into account my situation and needs. She helped me find contractors to do prep work. She answered all my logistical and legal questions about listing, reviewing/accepting a bid, signing contracts and extensions, consulting my attorney, etc. Her knowledge and sense of the housing market in Old Lyme was accurate.
