Dan Demasi

With deep roots in Larchmont since 1976, I am a proud product of its local schools, from elementary through Mamaroneck High School, where I actively engaged in soccer, hockey, and lacrosse, graduating in 1984. My passion for hockey continued at the University of Delaware, where I played from 1985 to 1988 and earned my degree.

My professional journey began in executive recruitment, leading me to Wall Street where I thrived in various capacities at esteemed firms like Prudential Securities, Cantor Fitzgerald, ABN AMRO, and Jefferies & Oddo Securities until 2012. During my finance tenure, I acquired Series 7, 24, 55, and 63 licenses, equipping me with a robust understanding of the financial world.

In 2012, I embarked on an entrepreneurial venture as a European Wax Center Franchisee, successfully managing five locations across New York, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. My commitment to community service is evident through my long-standing involvement with the Mamaroneck Youth Hockey Association, where I coached young athletes from 1994 to 2015, and my tenure as JV Hockey coach at Mamaroneck High School from 1994 to 2001.

As a member of the Orienta Beach Club since 2003, I have been instrumental in shaping its future, serving on the Membership Committee since 2007 and leading it since 2008. My dedication to hockey also led me to become a founding member of the Delaware Hockey Alumni Association in 2015.

In May 2016, I brought my diverse experience and local expertise to Sotheby's, joining forces with my brother-in-law, Pat Mahoney, and my mother, Janet Demasi. Together, we form a dynamic team that is deeply committed to serving our clients with the same passion and dedication that I have applied to every aspect of my life.
