Growing up in a small town in central New York, I rode my bike and played outside with my friends in my neighborhood nonstop. I took for granted the strong network of support in friends, family, neighborhood, church and greater community that I would seek as I started the home-buying process. By the time I graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, I had learned to love the city as I did my hometown. I traveled extensively and earned my master’s degree at Katholiek University in Belgium, and formed relationships to last a lifetime and felt a connection with people from many walks of life.
After working in sales and marketing in the footwear industry for many years in Manhattan, I met my husband, moved to Westchester County, and had two daughters. As we found ourselves in the Westport area time after time to take advantage of the many family-oriented activities here, we decided to settle in Westport, in a neighborhood which looks and feels a lot like the one where I grew up. We were drawn to the amenities and appreciate the deeply-rooted, creative, and beautiful area where we could raise our children. Whenever we go to Compo Beach, or kayak on the sound, walk downtown to dinner, or when the kids bike around the loop with their friends, we are reminded that we live in an extraordinary place.
