Operating as Snellman Sotheby’s International Realty, the new global affiliate will be led under Kenneth Katter, who will serve as chief executive officer, bringing over 20 years of high-profile international sales experience to the firm. The owners, consisting of business investors from both Sweden and Finland that are headed by Robert Charpentier, just signed a 25-year franchise agreement to thoroughly develop the brand throughout the country.

The opening of the first Snellman Sotheby’s International Realty office is planned for this year in Finland’s capital city of Helsinki, moving our brand’s numbers to over 180 independently owned and operated offices in Europe, the Middle East and regions of Africa. Further Sotheby’s International Realty expansion throughout Finland will be determined on an ongoing basis. Charpentier anticipates future growth in the Finnish Lapland, as a result of international interest in high-end ski chalets.
