The unofficial start to summer is finally here! This Memorial Day weekend, take advantage of all the opportunities your community has to offer. Beach Bummin’ It Memorial Day marks the official opening of various public beaches throughout Westchester. The following beaches are open on weekends and Memorial Day starting today!

Fun & Games If you’re from Westchester County, there’s nothing better than spending time at Rye Playland—a classic local landmark in town. This weekend, enjoy food, games and rides at the park beginning today at 5 PM, through Monday. Ride the Dragon Coasters and be sure to take a spin on the Grand Carousel, which turns 100 years old this year! Then on Sunday, May 24th, pay tribute to our veterans and service members with a special ceremony at 11:45 AM, and later experience an afternoon Marine Helicopter Raid Demo at 2 PM.
