Typically, when you do a photo shoot at a property like 218 Sleepy Hollow Road, it’s the house that is the main focus. It’s no wonder, with its double-height glass pavilion and rooms with light marble floors; it is one of the stars of New Canaan’s legacy of mid-century modernism.
But yesterday, there was another reason to bring out the cameras: Elle.com held a fashion photo shoot featuring model Flaviana Matata and the property was their chosen set.
We were on location to capture the moment. Here are some photo highlights – check out our Instagram story that’s running live right now for a closer look at the shoot and to tour the house with listing agent, Inger Stringfellow.
Model Flaviana Matata poses in the main room. The natural light from the double-height walls of glass lent itself perfectly to the shoot.
Following a wardrobe change, Flaviana stands by the wood-burning fireplace overlooking the hickory trees.
The Wiley House is on the market for $8,500,000 and is listed with Inger Stringfellow and John Hersam.
