We held our annual company event last Wednesday, March 5th, at the Hilton Hotel in Stamford, CT. It was a great way for our sales associates to connect to grow their business and attend presentations delivered by our senior leadership and renowned speaker and graffiti artist Erik Wahl. The theme of the event was “Limitless,” chosen to reflect our capabilities in the current real estate market environment backed by the marketing reach, tools and networking strength of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand.
All agents company-wide were invited to attend the event, which included a networking breakfast hour where sponsors of the event hosted booths introducing agents to new technologies and available marketing products.
“Limitless was a galvanizing event for our company and our agents,” said Paul Breunich, President and CEO of William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty. “During the networking breakfast, agents were able to connect and build important contacts for new business and future referral sources. The presenters shared exciting updates and initiatives for the coming year, along with strategies to employ to help each agent be the best in the business. And the keynote presentation by Erik Wahl was nothing short of extraordinary, inspiring us all to achieve new heights by drawing upon innovative ways of thinking.”
In his presentation, Wahl emphasized the importance of taking risks and tapping into inner strengths while he delivered the onstage painting performance for which he is known. While motivating us with his words and playing inspiring video clips on the big screen, he quickly painted on his black canvas on stage. To the entire audience’s delight, the paintings turned into masterpieces depicting portraits of Abraham Lincoln, The Statue of Liberty and Albert Einstein. The audience was inspired to start broadening their perspectives in order to push their boundaries and expand their preconditioned limits.
