Real estate success today requires higher levels of business knowledge, strategic expertise, marketing experience and psychological skills more than ever before. I love using my past business experience to creatively solve marketing challenges and achieve success for my clients.
At the end of 2011 I ended nearly 15 years as EVP, Chief Marketing Officer of ASCAP, the world's largest music performing right organization. ASCAP now collects over $1.7 billion dollars each year for its 900,000 songwriter, composer and publisher members. When I joined the organization in 1997 to establish a marketing function, ASCAP had 58,000 members and revenues of less than $300 million.
Prior to joining the ASCAP senior management team, I served in senior marketing positions with the Gallo Winery, Avon Products, General Foods and was a world wide advertising account director for Johnson and Johnson and other bluechip accounts. Before beginning my marketing career, I was a Navy fighter pilot with over 300 carrier landings.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin where I have served two terms on the Dean's Advisory Board for the School of Business and Chair of the Marketing Committee. I have served as Chairman of the Association of National Advertisers New Product Marketing Committee, a Director of the National Advertising Review Board, a director of the Executive Forum and the Fairfield County Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. I currently serve on the Boards of Music Pro Insurance and the Manresa Association
