Melissa S. Pardi:
I was born and raised in Connecticut and have lived on the Connecticut shoreline for the last 25 years with my husband and two children. My teenage son and daughter have grown up attending the Old Saybrook School system and are active in various academic, recreational, and social activities, which have allowed our family to develop strong community ties. Prior to moving to Old Saybrook, my husband and I lived in Clinton where we successfully restored an old beach house on Hammock Point, while starting our family and establishing a fond appreciation for the shoreline lifestyle and the friends we have met along the way.
I have had extensive sales and customer service training and experience working as a bank branch manager, trust sales coordinator, and insurance and annuity sales. I am proud to say that I have won many awards and accolades for sales and customer service satisfaction. Throughout my years working with these banks I was able to achieve great growth and success for the banks as well as professionally. The experience instilled in me a great aspiration for retail sales working with my customers and clients to address their needs and help them achieve their goals. My banking experience laid the groundwork for me to be well-suited for real estate as I always put my clients first and strive to provide superior customer service. I have been recognized as a top agent in multiple categories. It gives me great pleasure to help my clients achieve their objectives whether they are selling their homes or trying to find their perfect home that meets their requirements. I am a fighter and a listener and I will always negotiate what is best for my clients while recognizing the need to close a deal that works for all interested parties. When I am not out working with my clients you can find me in one of my favorite places. My kitchen. Cooking or baking with my daughter. I am an avid gardener and find great solace in early mornings tending to the needs of my gardens. Most weekends my family and I are out enjoying all the beautiful Connecticut shoreline has to offer. Boating in the sound, paddle boarding in Saybrook’s North Cove, or strolling on the beach watching the gorgeous sunsets. I am also the Co-Chair-woman of the North Cove Yacht Clubs Junior Sailing program, and a supporter of the Sunshine Kids and Ovarian Cancer Coalition. I also am enthusiastic about house design and home furnishings. I adore fabrics and furniture and continually keep myself well-read on the latest in home design, trends, and home features. It is a passion of mine but also ensures I am able to know homes and specialty features. In many cases, I have helped my clients establish a vision of how their house can be better presented to appeal to potential buyers or see the hidden potential in a house that can meet their home-buying objectives.
