Mary Black Flaherty

Agent

Mary grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and has resided in New York for over 10 years.  Prior to her career in real estate, Mary was an elementary school teacher and Educational Evaluator in White Plains City and Rye City School Districts.  As a parent herself, Mary recognizes the importance of community in choosing a home and uses her experience and background to help support her clients.  She is passionate about the real estate market, and strives to assist home buyers and sellers in navigating both regional and local market trends. Mary is also knowledgeable in effective marketing and negotiation strategies, which are essential keys to success in real estate.

Mary is a very personable agent, and has spent years dedicating her time to charitable organizations. She has many ties to the local Rye and Sound Shore Communities, and is an active member of her children's school association. She serves on several school committees, most notably chairing the fundraiser to benefit Midland School in Rye. Mary also volunteers to fundraise for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through American Yacht Club, and teaches religious education locally.

Mary resides in Rye with her husband and three daughters. Her husband is a Westchester contractor, and they successfully collaborated on building a new home. Through the construction project and her vast community ties, Mary has built a strong and reliable network of home professionals.

In her free time, Mary enjoys biking on the boardwalk with her husband and children, trying out new restaurants in Westchester, and spending time with family and friends at the beach.
