Mary Ann has been a volunteer for the Connecticut River Museum, Covenant Shelter of New London, Riverfront Children's Center of Groton, Masonicare, and Forgotten Felines, she is also certified to volunteer for York Correctional, she was awarded the Berlin Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award in 1991 and named Employer of the Year in 2007 by the Mystic Chamber of Commerce.
