Upon graduation from Bennett College in Millbrook, NY, Laurel Galloway spent six years in Madrid, Spain working at the Institute of Spanish Culture and the Institue of European Studies and then to Washington, DC where she served at the Spanish Embassy's Cultural Relations Office. Her love of Spain then took her into International Real Estate with Panorama International, based in DC.
Laurel is a full time realtor in Litchfield County with over 26 years of real estate experience. She has had the pleasure of having sold properties in Marbella, Spain, Jackson Hole, Wyoming and in the Dominican Republic. Her business philosophy is quite simple; to deliver prompt and courteous customer service as a top priority. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Board of Realtors and the Litchfield County Board of Realtors where she has served on both the Realtor of the Year Committee and the Scholarship Committee. She has an e-PRO designation and was one of the first associates in the State to earn the designation of Eco-Broker ®.
Laurel has been Past President of the Litchfield Horse Show Association and the Litchfield Hunter Breeders Society as well as Past Board of Director at the Santa Ynez Valley Historical Society in California. Volunteer at Navy Relief Society-North Island. She served on the Board of Directors at VNA Northwest and is a past Board of Director member for the Litchfield Community Center, and is a member of the Litchfield Historical Society, and Clydesdale Breeders of the USA.
Laurel currently resides on Jennings Hill Farm in East Cornwall where she raises Clydesdale horses and she enjoys a good game tennis,golf, sporting clays competition, Mah Jongg and Genealogy and is a member of the Colonial Dames of America. Most receent accomplishment was to stand on the podium in Sevilla, Spain with World Chanpions Stacey Segebart and Carmen Foroni representing the USA in Ladies competion for second place.
