Kim Hyde

LICENSED REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON

Kim Cannon Hyde has decades of experience as an educator, serving her community and has spent the past seven years combing those talents and knowledge into successful real estate busines. With deep ties to both the Darien and Rowayton communities, she prides herself on serving and helping others. That same commitment is what you will receive when working with Kim. Her primary goal in the buying and selling process is to illuminate and simplify the experience while navigating the ins and outs of real estate. Kim’s background has taught her that no one transaction is ever the same and that each transaction is important.

Since joining William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty in 2016, Kim has helped over 60 families find new homes and transacted over $70M in total sales. Kim’s clients have bought and sold in many Fairfield County towns, including Stamford, Norwalk, Wilton, Ridgefield, Westport and Fairfield in addition to Darien and Rowayton. Having been a connected member of the community for so long, she has an immeasurable amount of exposure and expertise. Combine her local wisdom with her attention to detail, strong work ethic and outgoing personality and you get someone who provides results to both sellers and buyers.

Kim grew up in Darien and raised her three children here. Over her 45+ years here, she has lived in five different houses, in five different Darien neighborhoods allowing her to impart a breadth of familiarity with the town and beyond to her clients. In addition to being an alumna of Darien High herself, she has worked at, volunteered at, and sent children to five different Darien Public Schools. She has insights that are especially unique, even as a local professional mom – she has personally navigated every street in town as an ambulance driver and Adult Advisor for the Darien Emergency Medical Services Post 53 (which, she says, is “an incredible experience that she highly recommends for any and all Darien high school students and their moms and dads!”)

After that invaluable experience, Kim transformed again: this time giving back to her community as a teacher for seven years at a privately funded school for urban youth in Stamford. Seeing the kindness and outpouring of support from the various communities and organizations, which afforded tremendous opportunities to students and their families was something that spoke to Kim and made this career change so meaningful. It was this experience that demonstrated how transformational the lifestyle and quality of Fairfield County and its residents can be. It helped to solidify that this is where she really wanted to encourage people to live and grow as individuals and families.

She has since planted roots in the community herself once again. She now lives in the middle of downtown Rowayton and maintains an active lifestyle while continuing to be deeply involved in her communities. Through her extensive local network of friends & family and by avidly tracking every real estate transaction, every piece of news that could possibly affect both lifestyle, and real estate values in our area, Kim has developed a keen understanding of what it takes to buy and/or sell a home here.

Her commitment to her community is only paralleled by her dedication to her clients. Her unique skill set, and intimate knowledge of the area make her a truly invaluable asset to any transaction.

See why working with Kim goes far beyond just the closing of a house.
