Kelly Walsh

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

When Kelly Walsh turned 23 years old, she made a lot of big things happen. She became a business owner, she became the boss of 10 employees, she bought a two-family home, and she became a landlord for the first time. And in the midst of all this activity, she found her calling - residential property.

“Finding clients their home is more important than ever,” says Kelly. Buyers in today’s market realize that there are two critical kinds of home value: what a property is worth in terms of dollars. There’s also the emotional value, of what a home is worth to you and your family personally. Kelly loves working with first-time buyers. Her experience and intuitive listening skills are an asset when interpreting what kind of property is right for her clients - that’s the emotional value.

“But the numbers have to add up for the client too,” emphasizes Kelly. “Every home purchase is an investment and my job is to know what the property’s real value is. This knowledge gives me leverage to close the deal when negotiating an offer.”

Having a finger on the pulse of the market is just another reason why Kelly’s clients find working with her to be so valuable. She’s been fascinated by residential property and investment properties in Fairfield County since she bought her first home, and now, as a realtor with access to the full MLS, she puts her extensive research of what’s on the market, what’s been on the market and what’s coming on to the market to good use.

Kelly does what she loves and it shows in every transaction, but she claims that the clients are what drives and motivates her. “Yes, it's really important to me to make sure a property checks off all the boxes for my client,” says Kelly. “But what makes me happy is to know that I play a key role in making my clients’ new home a reality.”

When not viewing, showing, researching, or negotiating a property, Kelly loves being a new Mom to Charlotte and walks on Jennings Beach with her black lab Buddy. But her favorite pastime is working side by side with her husband on their most recent investment property acquisition (they have three now). He does the heavy lifting in the renovations and she has an eye for design.
