Jane has lived with her family in Litchfield, CT, since 1982. In those 40 years, she has come to know the NW CT region with all its stunning beauty, charm, and character. This corner of the world beckoned after a successful career in merchandising for R.H. Macy in New York. Merchandising and staging retail products were an integral part of her responsibility. Jane and her husband Paul, who is an architect, have lovingly restored their 18th c. home. Jane has been a real estate salesperson for over 15 years and joined forces with Sotheby’s in 2018.
As a full-time agent, putting together the necessary information for selling and buying a home is tantamount to a successful sale. Jane works well with her colleagues and the Sotheby world-class team that assists her in delivering a successful transaction. It is with that passion obtained from her merchandising career that she is able to assist her sellers in preparing their homes for the market with the appropriate staging and marketing strategies. She is able to guide her Buyers to focus on the right property, and, if needed, help them prioritize potential projects and offer design ideas. Jane believes in service to her clients before, during, and after the transaction. She prides herself in being able to listen to her clients while remaining calm and patient throughout the process. Doing the common things uncommonly well is her mantra.
