Craig Wood

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Craig is all about being adaptable in order to provide clients a customized experience based on their individual needs. Building trust by listening to his clients, he identifies potential gaps. To fill those gaps he uses his education, resources and his quest for knowledge, making sure his clients are informed in order to make confident decisions.

His 20 years of owning a growth oriented healthcare company, where he served as President, culminated with a successful sale of the company. Leading up to the sale, Craig helped grow the company from a single location to having offices in Darien, Stamford, Wilton, Fairfield and Ridgefield. Active participation in those communities through sponsorships, fundraisers, and volunteering time was part of everyday life. As a result, Craig has a historical, working knowledge of Fairfield County and feels fortunate with the number of people he calls friends or colleagues. It was over this time that Craig sharpened his skills by direct involvement with negotiations, property acquisition, space planning, construction, leadership training, and change management. In the end, Craig is focused on being a trusted advisor who leaves a positive impression on the lives of others. He is highly competitive, analytical and strategic, with unrelenting energy fueled by optimism. He brings his A game, uses respectful and appropriate humor to reduce stressful situations, and works hard to create success for his clients. As a true professional, he is skilled at winning, because he figures out a way to allow the other side to not feel like they are losing.

Craig is originally from a small town in upstate New York, located at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, along the Susquehanna River. Growing up in a rural community, surrounded by hard working farmers, and living off the land has allowed Craig to appreciate nature, respect others, and stay grounded. He loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, cook, garden, build things and learn new skills.
