Christopher Brown

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Buying a home is an emotional decision, but it’s also a data driven one. Southport based agent Christopher Brown knows that when you’re looking to buy or sell a home, the numbers always have to work for you. As a realtor, he knows his job is to make all the connections for his clients: to listen and interpret their needs and wants when buying or selling a home, to advocate and negotiate for the best outcome and to ensure that both the emotional and rational sides in any deal meet the client’s criteria.

After 15 years working as a senior sales director to the hospitality industry, excelling at finding the perfect solution to the trickiest of requests, on a tight timeline, and within budget for the top names in entertainment and fashion, Christopher began to imagine a different life away from New York City.  Since he began his career in Real Estate, Christopher has closed over 4.1 Million dollars in revenue and was awarded William Pitt Sotheby's "Rookie of the Year 2021," becoming one of the top producing agents in the Southport office.

Growing up in Massachusetts, Christopher spent his summers sailing out from Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay to points along the New England coastline, so he naturally gravitated back to the beach when thinking about making a change for the better.

As a data driven decision maker, Christopher did his research. Up and down the Connecticut coastline he house-hunted like Sherlock Holmes, leaving no town unexplored in his quest to discover what makes a town unique to its residents. During his successful search, Christopher amassed a wealth of knowledge and data about home trends, pricing, local services, and recreation available in the area. That’s when he decided to also move his top notch negotiation and communications skills from hospitality to Real Estate.

“Fairfield County has all the cultural sophistication of New York City, without any of its hallmark stress and strife,” says Christopher. "Finding a treasure trove of specialty foods, fine wines and superior class restaurants makes the transition to country life positively blissful.”

Some of Christopher’s favorite spots are at one of Fairfield County’s gorgeous beaches like Jennings in Fairfield, or at one of the local world class restaurants, like The Cottage in Westport, The Sinclair in Fairfield or Hoodoo Browns in Ridgefield, (which has BBQ “that’s worth the wait,”). His favorite place to hang out is on a boat in Long Island Sound.

A part time genealogist and full-time Irishman, Christopher loves to tell a good story: about a specific home he’s preparing to list for a seller, about how a listing perfectly meets a buyer’s needs. Whether it’s building out an impressive marketing plan with social media messaging and promotions, setting up a photo shoot or staging a property for a broker open house, Christopher is always looking for the narrative of how a home comes to life and comes into the life of a new owner.
