Born in Hong Kong, raised in Westchester County with ties to Fairfield County, Chelsea Hammerschmidt’s career path was established long before she received her real estate license. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she started her real estate career in Hong Kong where she was ranked #1 in her company for most transactions in 2020 in addition to leading the launch of her company’s new website.
After spending five years in Hong Kong, the most expensive real estate market in the world, Chelsea has returned to bring her international real estate experience to New York and Connecticut. Now aligned with Sotheby’s International Realty, Chelsea is excited to bring her global approach to the communities in Westchester and Connecticut where she has long standing relationships and connections. In her first year with Sotheby’s Chelsea achieved the highest sale in Pound Ridge in 2023 for her sellers.
Chelsea is incredibly passionate about her job, a skilled negotiator and differentiates herself by providing her clients with relevant market insights at a hyper-local, national and global level. Her worldly success allows her to provide better information which gives her buyers and sellers the ability to make better decisions.
A graduate of Santa Clara University with a major in Political Science and a minor in photography, gives her a distinctive style in preparing a home for the marketplace which includes staging, cutting-edge photography and working with homeowners on crafting the perfect presentation and marketing strategy. By leveraging her experience in Silicon Valley, her analytical approach to pricing is both an art and a science.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys staying active by playing tennis, running and wakeboarding on Long Island Sound with her family.
