Born in Hong Kong and raised in Westchester County, Chelsea Hammerschmidt developed a global perspective long before beginning her career in real estate. Following in her mother's footsteps, she launched her career in Hong Kong—one of the world's most dynamic and competitive property markets—where she quickly distinguished herself, ranking #1 in company-wide transactions in 2020 while also leading the launch of the firm's new website and marketing platform.
After five years abroad, Chelsea returned to New York and Connecticut, bringing an international approach to the communities she has always called home. Today, she represents buyers and sellers throughout Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut with Sotheby's International Realty, combining local expertise with a global understanding of luxury real estate. Her market knowledge and strategic approach have contributed to record-setting results, including achieving the highest sale in Pound Ridge in both 2023 and 2025.

A graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Photography, Chelsea has a deep appreciation for both the business and creative sides of real estate. Beyond real estate, Chelsea is deeply committed to the communities she serves. She sits on the Board of Directors for Soul Ryeders, a Rye-based nonprofit supporting individuals and families affected by cancer, and serves on the Junior Board of POTS (Part of the Solution) in the Bronx. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running, playing tennis, wakeboarding on Long Island Sound, and spending time with family and friends.
