Moving from Columbus, Ohio as a teenager, Carole Straus has been a resident of Westchester County for almost her entire life. A graduate of Scarsdale High School, she attended Wellesley College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and after pursuing her interest in education, attained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Hunter College.
Following her natural tendencies to connect with people and share knowledge, Carole spent a good part of her professional career as an educator. Her teaching experience includes various school districts in Westchester, including Greenburgh, White Plains and Mamaroneck.
Carole attributes her successful 25+ years in real estate to her natural affinity to people along with the communication skills she developed as an educator. Ask her what she enjoys most about her job and she'll say "it's building relationships with people and finding the home of their dreams." She guides her customers through every step of a real estate transaction, explaining the smallest details of the buying and selling processes.
Carole is an Associate Broker and has attained the professional designation of GRI, Graduate, Realtor Institute. She specializes in listing and selling properties, including single-family homes, condominiums and co-ops, in Rye and the surrounding areas.
Strong family ties, spanning several generations, throughout the county have kept Carole grounded and actively involved in the communities of Westchester, especially those she serves. As a long time resident, she has firsthand knowledge of Westchester County and all it offers, serving as a tremendous resource.
