Barbara Reiss

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Barb was born and raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut and earned a business degree in college.  In 2005 she started working for the Ridgefield Board of Realtors, and then joined William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty as a Realtor® in their Ridgefield office, where she has happily worked for the past decade.

A perennial award winner, Barb is a high-touch agent known for her extensive market knowledge and her unmatched devotion to clients. Her success is based primarily on positive referrals. She earns the respect of her clients by working tirelessly on their behalf and always offering candid advice.

Creativity and communication skills are strengths she draws on consistently.  Working alongside a close friend and professional stager for the past 15 years has helped her work seamlessly with sellers to prepare a home for the market and for buyers to see the potential of a home. And as part of her strategic marketing plan to promote properties, Barb frequently hosts "The Real Estate Minute" on a nationally syndicated radio program, which is aired in over 50 states.

Her love for the business and her home state emanates and is evident from the moment you meet her.

As an avid gardener, hiker, jogger, cook and lover of really good red wine, Barb keeps busy in her beautiful town of Ridgefield.

Reigning supreme... her family, who has taught her that making a home is one of the most important things you will do in life.  Mom to three grown children, all Ridgefield High School graduates, who still love to call Ridgefield their home.  And with Sully Golden Retriever, and her husband Robert, they keep the fires warm for any and all visitors.  A quote from one of her favorite movies sums it up - “There’s no place like home”.
