Our very own Rye manager Pati Holmes was recently honored during the Rye YMCA’s centennial celebration gala with a Gold Spirit award, the highest honor the organization gives to YMCA volunteers. Our company was a proud sponsor of the event, which was held on the evening of October 25, 2014 at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College.
Pati was honored for her years of giving back to the local Rye community, including her tenure as a member of the Rye YMCA Board of Directors. Her contribution to the area isn’t close to ending here. In addition to the YMCA, Pati has fulfilled the role of Midland School PTO President with the Rye City School District Curriculum Council and has served on the Board of the Rye Ranger Youth Hockey Association. She is also the co-founder of the Heard in Rye Speakers Bureau.
During her acceptance speech, Pati spoke about the importance of philanthropy, and shared inspirational stories of individuals benefiting their community through selfless acts. The gala also included a performance by actor, author and comedian Paul Reiser, and featured live and silent auctions with items including vacations to Vail, Jamaica and Kiawah, S.C.
“Pati has always shown such tremendous passion for giving back to the Rye community,” said President and CEO Paul Breunich. “It is wonderful to see her so honored for all of the years she has devoted to making a difference here. She is fully deserving of the Gold Spirit award win, and I offer her my warmest congratulations.”
And to think—Pati does all of this, while still contributing so greatly to our team as the Rye brokerage manager. Hats off to that! Congrats, Pati!
