Brian Murray Named Brokerage Manager for Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty in Scarsdale

Scarsdale, N.Y. (November 8, 2019) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that Brian Murray will assume the role of Brokerage Manager for the firm’s brokerage in Scarsdale, N.Y. Murray brings nearly 15 years of real estate and sales experience to the position including expertise in luxury marketing gained from his years with Houlihan Lawrence.

Murray recently served as Brokerage Manager with Houlihan Lawrence in Chappaqua, where he managed, mentored and developed a team of 60 agents. In that role, he supported agents with his deep understanding of sales, market conditions and lifestyle trends, as well as innovative marketing strategies. He first entered the real estate industry as an agent in 2006 and quickly grew successful, initially participating in field sales at a development represented by the firm’s Project Marketing Division.

Murray is known for his analytical approach to real estate, with expertise in market data and statistics as well as an ability to translate metrics into market insights easily grasped by buyers and sellers. With a talent for identifying trends at an early stage, Murray brings proficiency in data and technology combined with strong marketing skills and client service to empower consumers to make informed decisions.

“Brian brings an impressive background and a wealth of invaluable experience to our firm,” said Paul Breunich, President and CEO of Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty. “He has demonstrated a true passion for real estate, and I believe this enthusiasm combined with his incredible track record in sales and extensive market knowledge will prove a great asset to our Scarsdale agents. I look forward to seeing him bring his considerable skills to our leadership team.”

Murray said he was drawn to Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty for its strong brand reputation and powerful established presence across the Westchester County markets. The company’s global reach through a network of affiliated firms, sophisticated marketing offerings and cutting-edge technological resources were also important factors for him.

“I am honored to move into a management position with Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty,” he said. “I am confident I can continue to provide the Scarsdale sales team with the high level of support to which they are accustomed from this globally renowned brand. At the same time, my goal is to bolster their productivity by drawing upon my own operations and sales experience, and my knowledge of our housing markets.”

Murray grew up in and around real estate, and has resided in several Westchester County communities including Larchmont, Rye, Bronxville, Bedford and Waccabuc.
