If you’re a follower of our Instagram channel (WilliamPittSIR) then you may notice a different look to the homes you normally see on any given day. Today in collaboration with Skeppsholmen Sotheby’s International Realty, we are participating in another “Instagram Takeover.” Due to our brands unique ability to reach international audiences through its vast network, we are able to reach Sweden and showcase some of the Northeast’s most dazzling homes.

The William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty channel will feature a handful of Skeppsholmen Sotheby’s International Realty’s most spectacular listings. Also, their Instagram channel will feature a listing from each of the communities our firm services, including Westchester County, Fairfield County, Hartford County, the Litchfield Hills, the Berkshires and the Connecticut Shoreline.

Before being acquired by Sotheby’s International Realty in 2010, Skeppsholmen Sotheby’s International Realty was founded as Skeppsholmen Fastighetsmäkleri in 1992. They were the first real estate company in Stockholm to establish an open plan office at street level long before in became the norm in one of Sweden’s largest cities.

Skeppsholmen Sotheby’s International Realty’s Instagram channel has over 5,000 followers and continues to partner with other Sotheby’s International Realty® affiliates around the globe in social media collaborations.

“Instagram takeovers are really gaining popularity as a way for brands to reach new audiences,” said Vin Socci, Chief Operating Officer for William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty. “By partnering with our brand’s affiliate in Sweden we have the unique opportunity to reach a European market and share some of our most extraordinary listings. As always, we are really excited for today’s takeover and we hope our followers enjoy the different perspective we will present.”
