Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s Larchmont Brokerage to Host Collective Open House and Reception in Larchmont Manor

Larchmont, N.Y. – April 12, 2018 – Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that the firm’s Larchmont brokerage will be hosting a collective open house and cocktail reception in the Larchmont Manor section of town on April 19th from 4-6:30 p.m. RSVP to Dominique Austin is required. Those who attend will have the opportunity to tour four homes in the area and meet with the agents representing the properties.

The homes that are available to tour include: 50 17 Woodbine Avenue60 Park Avenue and 8 Grove Avenue.  The event will culminate with the special cocktail gathering at 17 Woodbine Avenue.

This collective open house will also showcase what Larchmont has to offer to its potential residents. The area is rich with green space, which includes parks, playgrounds and other recreational spaces. Most notably, Larchmont Manor Park encompasses 13 acres of walking paths, gazebos, benches and stretches of grass along more than 5,000 feet of shoreline.

Kristine Patterson is the current owner of the home at 8 Grove Avenue. She and her husband have lived at the property for four years and explained what drew them to Larchmont was the excellent school district among its many other qualities.

“As soon as I drove through the area it appealed to us right away,” Patterson said. “It has a small town feel, but has the luxury of New York City’s amenities being so close by.”

Cary Sleeper, who is the sales agent representing 17 Woodbine Avenue, explained that the village also has exceptional schools, wonderful family owned restaurants and easy access to transportation.

“Many of the homes here date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s,” Sleeper said. “Back then the Manor Park area was the summer spot for people living in New York City. It was equivalent to what the Hamptons have become today for people in the city. You get a great sense of the history in the region as you travel around town.”

“I am very excited to have the opportunity to showcase these fantastic homes and share with the community the wonderful amenities a life in Larchmont can offer,” said Carolyn Fugere, manager of Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s Larchmont brokerage. “This unique event will give people the chance to see some of these listings in person and ask questions with our excellent team of agents face to face.”
