Award-winning real estate agent of over 12 years appears on an episode of popular health T.V. show for her expertise in cooking with red wine
Stamford, Conn. – February 23, 2015 – William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that agent Hana Kaufman of the firm’s Stamford brokerage was recently featured on a recent episode of the American syndicated television talk show The Dr. Oz Show.
Kaufman appears in a segment on new healthy uses for red wine, some of which include substituting wine for soap when washing fruit, bathing in red wine for a unique form of “vino pore therapy” and cooking healthy recipes using red wine, the topic of Kaufman’s expertise. Kaufman discusses the cooking tactic of using red wine to replace more unhealthy sauces, such as butter and oils. She does this for many of her recipes, one of them being a special ribs dish that was featured on the show. Dr. Oz then goes on to support this healthy method for brazing ribs, stating that substituting wine for heavy sauces can save up to 850 calories.
Kaufman is a top-producing real estate agent who has been helping clients buy and sell homes in Connecticut for over 12 years. She holds numerous awards and designations for her commitment and dedication in the field, and is involved in various organizations and local charities.
